The other day I ran across THIS tutorial. I figured I may as wells give it a go. I gathered my supplies and made a few. I dont hand sew. I did mine by machine.

I decided to stuff a few, like I did with mine last year.

Then I figured, why not, may as wells make a little tutorial of my own (Based on HER heart tutorial). So here ya go.. this is how I made my stuffed, heart-felt ornaments. *I'm no pro, so they aren't perfect* First I made a pattern. You can download it HERE.
You will need to get your materials.
- Pattern
- Felt
- Thread
- Scissors
- Needles
- Cotton balls, or whatever you want to stuff with.
*I got my Felt at Walmart in the remnants bin.*
Pin your pattern to the fabric.
Cut it out
Pin your small heart to the large one.
Then stitch.
Stitch your ribbon to the back piece.
Pin the back/front together
Get your stuffing ready.
Push into the middle. I push it down in between the two pins.
Add another pin to hold it.
Stitch all the way around.
Trim up anything that needs trimmed, and there you go!

Oh how cute! I'll have to try this by hand.
I tried to whip-stitch some hearts last year.. they didnt turn out so well. LOL. I may give it a go again later if I have time.
Cute craft and so easy thank you so much for the tutorial .Wonderful job!
What size needle did you use to sew felt on your machine?
I can't say 100% which it was, but I am sure it was the 'strongest' I had at the time. Probably one for jeans.
