Dear Alana,
Thank you for contacting CVS/pharmacy regarding the use of Extra Buck coupons and offers at the register. I am able to help you with this.
Our registers are set to allow 1 CVS coupon and 1 manufacturer coupon per item. CVS Extra Buck coupons are earned when you make a qualifying purchase. These print out instantly at the register upon reaching the threshold for the offer. Free coupons or “offers at the register” are unearned and issued to you as a valued member of the CVS/pharmacy ExtraCare program. These coupons take the form of “open ended” coupons such as $3 off $15 or a certain dollar amount off a specific
item. In any given transaction our registers will allow only one “open ended” coupon per transaction and more than one Extra Buck coupon provided the purchase threshold has been met for each offer amount on a per-transaction basis.
When using a Manufacturer’s buy 1 get 1 free coupon along with a CVS buy 1 get 1 free offer you would receive both items at no charge. You may need to pay tax depending on the item.
I hope this helps.
Sincerely,

Thanks!!
Can you tell me who to contact? what is the email? I'd like to get a response back from several questions I have. I have encountered more than one nasty managers who treat customers who use coupons as if we were stealing from them. Thank you in advance.
thanks for this info! I am fairly new (2 months) into cvsing but this helps. I have 2 CVS near me and both have very nice employees. Actually, last week the receipt printed out my ecbs and the girl said "I've never seen so many before!" :)
I have a question I had a B1G1 Free offer for the Off bug killer starter kit. I gave the CVS person the B1G1 coupon along with a $2.00 off the starter kit and she would not take the $2.00 coupon, which would have been applied to the 1st item and the B1G1 to the 2nd - right? I am new and a little confused, any clarification would help! PLD
